¿Son útiles? Depende…

Son como el cerebro: si no sabes usarlo, no es útil tenerlo.

Hace poco alquilé un coche en Centauro. Me tomé el trabajo de leer todas las páginas, (y son muchas), de las condiciones generales y particulares que enmarcaban el alquiler del coche. Me parecieron razonables pero lo más importante fue que tomé pleno conocimiento de ellas y las acepté. El resultado fue que no tuve ningún inconveniente y tuve un servicio 100% coincidente con aquello que había contratado. Quedé 100% satisfecho.

Si miráis los comentarios sobre  las compañías de alquiler de coche, veréis muchísimas quejas y leyéndolas también advertiréis que hay gente que cree que realmente se puede alquilar un coche a 1€ por día. Si te metes en un mar lleno de tiburones y te mastican, ¿de quién es la culpa? ¿Tuya o de los tiburones?

El mismo fenómeno se observa en los hoteles, especialmente en aquellos con tarifa “Todo Incluido”. “Todo Incluido” no significa que pasas a ser dueño del hotel y tus derechos son los únicos válidos ni que si tu hijo hace el tonto y sale mal parado, tú tengas derecho a enfadarte con el hotel en lugar de hacerlo contra ti mismo por falta de responsabilidad.

“Todo Incluido” no significa “No use su cerebro, nosotros lo haremos por Usted”

También se da el fenómeno “Menos es más”. Aquel que menos tiene es el que más reclama. Si pagas un Dacia no puedes reclamar la calidad de un Mercedes. Si lo haces, no dejarás dudas de que eres imbécil.

Aunque en la práctica un precio alto no está relacionado indiscutiblemente con la calidad, son factores que suelen ir unidos.

Para obtener algo útil de la lectura de las Opiniones, hay que leer todas las que haya sobre el lugar o servicio que interese y saber separar el trigo de la paja. Obviamente estarán compuestas por “gente de la casa”, es decir propietarios, familia, amigos, trabajadores y gente interesada en que marche bien el negocio en cuestión. Así también dará su aporte, negativo, la competencia.

Y luego estarán los comentarios de usuarios reales ajenos a intereses particulares pero donde encontraremos a los genios que no pueden faltar:

  • Mi seguro del coche es fantástico.
  • Qué bueno, ¿has tenido algún siniestro o sido víctima de un robo?
  • No, qué va; yo soy un asegurado modelo. Nunca he dado un parte.
  • O sea, entonces tampoco has puesto a prueba las bondades que anuncias con tanto convencimiento.

Tripadvisor es otro de los sitios donde podemos encontrar “opinadores que destacan”

“El domingo fuimos al Restaurante l’idiot y le pongo una estrella porque como no teníamos reserva no nos quisieron dar de comer aunque había varias mesas vacías”

Dime idiota, ¡¿no se te ocurrió pensar que esas mesas vacías estaban reservadas para comensales que tenían reserva y aún no habían llegado?! (Sobra mucha gente en el mundo)

También estarán los que valoren con 5 estrellas su última adquisición en Amazon diciendo que “el envío me llegó antes de lo esperado” o “que vino muy bien envuelto”, comentarios que son de “mucha utilidad” para otros futuros compradores, (ironía). Del producto en sí no dice nada porque “aún no lo he probado”, pero ya le dio 5 estrellas… Es que…

Quiero mucho a mi caracol Joselito. Tampoco tiene mucho cerebro pero lo quiero.

En definitiva, sacar algo útil de los comentarios o reseñas de compradores o usuarios lleva su tiempo y esfuerzo. Podría ser algo que prestara un gran servicio pero gracias a tanto tarado que se esfuerza en dejar su aporte, la tarea se complica.

También pasa con amigos o conocidos que tienen un modelo de coche o que han ido de vacaciones a aquel hotel o que han cursado un máster especializado, todas cosas que podrían estar dentro de tus planes o expectativas y cometes la imprudencia de consultarlos sobre su opinión al respecto. Mala decisión.

Resulta que has dado con el contentísimo propietario del mejor coche del mundo; que aquellas fueron las mejores vacaciones de su vida y  que la formación impartida ha sido preparada por los mejores equipos docentes de las universidades más prestigiosas.

Luego, tu experiencia fue que el coche resultó ser una castaña; que el hotel así como en entorno eran de medio pelo y el máster en realidad fue preparado por un grupo de docentes mediocres en paro.  Es que hay gente que vive pensando que son “lo más” y que todo lo que hacen es acertado. ¡Huid de esta gente!

Antes de leer este blog es necesario que entiendas esto: no me sigas, no me reenvíes, no des “me gusta” y léelo si no tienes otra cosa más útil que hacer, como por ejemplo mirar “Sálvame”. Por otra parte, no gastes tu energía en odiarme por lo que aquí expreso. Lo que los demás opinen de mi no es tema de mi incumbencia.
